Come and join us for a cosy, Christmassy morning of creativity as we needlefelt the cutest decorations to add a little handmade magic to your tree this year!
We’re absolutely delighted to welcome back the wonderful Jackie Bennett, who always brings so much fun, warmth and inspiration to these workshops.
On 7th November, we’ll be making “cats in hats” and 'party pooches'. You can make one of each or two the same, it's entirely up to you...and for a bit of added personalisation bring along a photo of your own cat or dog and Jackie will help you make your decoration in his/her likeness. You're also welcome to bring some of you cat or dog's fur to mix with the felting wools if you like...it's not essential, but it helps to get a good likeness of your pet!
On 21st November, we are going full on festive with 'cheeky robins' or 'chilly polar bears'. Again you can make two the same or one of each - whatever you fancy! These little decs really are ridiculously cute and under Jackie's experienced guidance you don't need to have any experience of needlefelting at all.
Each class starts with Jackie showing you step-by-step how to create the first decoration, followed later by a demo of the second. You’ll have everything you need to make both decorations — including your materials, instructions and plenty of one-to-one guidance. You may only get one (and perhaps a half!) finished during the morning, but don’t worry: Jackie will make sure you leave with the knowledge and kit you need to finish your little Christmas creatures at home, at your own pace.
With just 10 places available, there’s plenty of opportunity to benefit from Jackie’s experience and patient guidance — and plenty of time for those important creative conversations (if you come with a friend), festive treats and general Christmas loveliness.
So grab a friend, choose your favourite little creatures and come and spend a morning making, laughing and getting properly into the Christmas spirit.
You’ll go home with some exceptionally cute handmade decorations, a new crafty skill and, hopefully, a lovely warm festive glow.
At Where Inspiration Blooms, we’re big fans of delicious cake! In this class, you can enjoy a choice of traditional and herbal teas from Chesham-based tea connoisseurs, Two Spoons, as well as both caffeinated and decaf coffee. We have dairy and non-dairy milks to suit every preference, and our homemade cakes are always sourced from good local bakers. We also make sure those who need gluten-free options aren’t left out and can be coeliac friendly if you need us to so please do ask.

Please note that we will only be able to run this class/course if we have a minimum of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than 2 weeks before it is due to start and we will of course, offer you a full refund.
