Kick start your festive season with a delicious recipe combining Where Inspiration Blooms creativity, some laughter and a little Christmas magic as you join us for one of our most-loved annual workshops.
We're absolutely delighted to be welcoming back the wonderful Jane Peacock for our popular Christmas Card Lino Printing Workshop. Believe it or not, this will be the fifth year we've run this special festive class, and it's become something of a Christmas tradition for many of our community.
Some folk return year after year to create a brand new design, making this one of our most anticipated festive workshops.
In previous years we've hosted two sessions to meet demand, but this year there's just one exclusive workshop, so we do recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Jane is a super talented Chilterns-based artist and an experienced, encouraging tutor who has a wonderful way of making lino printing accessible, enjoyable and surprisingly addictive. Whether you've never picked up a lino cutting tool before or already have some experience, she'll guide you through every stage of the process with patience, expert tuition and knowing Jane a lot of laughter!
During this relaxed and inspiring 2½-hour workshop you'll learn how to design, carve and hand-print your very own piece of lino before using it to print your own set of original Christmas cards on quality recycled cardstock.
With fewer and fewer folk actually sending Christmas cards (according to the post office) why not set yourself a rewarding intention to make this Christmas the year that you return to hand written, handmade cards sent the good old fashioned way with love!
Set against the peaceful surroundings of The Pavilion, this is the perfect opportunity to slow down for a few hours, embrace the festive spirit and enjoy a wonderfully creative morning or afternoon in good company. Come on your own or bring a friend – either way, you'll leave with new skills, festive inspiration and a stack of beautiful handmade cards ready to send this Christmas.
At Where Inspiration Blooms, we’re big fans of delicious cake! In this class, you can enjoy a choice of traditional and herbal teas from Chesham-based tea connoisseurs, Two Spoons, as well as both caffeinated and decaf coffee. We have dairy and non-dairy milks to suit every preference, and our homemade cakes are always sourced from good local bakers. We also make sure those who need gluten-free options aren’t left out.
Please note that we will only be able to run this class/course if we have a minimum of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than 2 weeks before it is due to start and we will of course, offer you a full refund.
