Brand new workshop alert!
 
When Tracy from Blueboy Furniture suggested a paint pour workshop we didn't have to think twice. Join us for this super fun and fabulous technique that has become so popular over the last few years.
 
In this 2-and-a-half hour evening workshop, Tracy will lead you through all of the skills and techniques that you need to create your very own resin fluid art abstract image. She will also demo two key techniques:  a 'dirty pour' - which uses a cup with paint layers already in it and also a 'marble pour' which she uses in her day to day work to create table tops.  We will be using professional paint brand Fusion Paints - who Tracy uses regularly in her furniture upcycling business.  These paints have a really solid high gloss finish.
 
Paint pouring is such a great technique, especially for people who feel that they’d love to create a piece of art but don’t feel confident in their own drawing or painting ability. In this class everyone will leave with a really fabulous piece of art worthy of any wall!
 
You will be pouring onto a single12" square canvas or 2 smaller canvases if you want a pair.  You will be asked which is your preference before the class to give us time to purchases canvases.
 
This class will be held at our brand new Pavilion opposite the Hit or Miss pub in Penn Street, just outside Amersham so you could easily make an evening of it with some friends before the kids break up for the summer holidays! As it’s a Thursday night, and Thursday is the new Friday right? We will be serving some homemade redcurrant gin and tonic as well as a few nibbly bits to get the evening off to a lovely relaxing start.  We’d love it if you could join us.
