No previous experience with willow is needed and all materials will be provided. 
 
This workshop is always so popular, but also always such a joy to run, not least because it's hosted by the lovely Jools Hopton from Nature's Jewels - who this year is joined by Where Inspiration Bloom's Jules as her assistant!
 
Join Jools & Jules for a wonderfully relaxing workshop, weaving willow in our gorgeous grounds or sun trap garden at The Pavilion in Penn Street. 
 
In just 2 hours you will learn how to make a plant support which is perfect for providing structure for your taller perennials or dahlias.  
 
There’s something so special about weaving with willow in the height of summer — sitting outdoors, surrounded by greenery, with time slowing down as your hands find their rhythm. Jools will have lovingly prepared all of the willow in advance, soaking and selecting each piece so it’s perfectly supple and ready to use, meaning you can simply arrive and sink straight into the experience. It’s a wonderfully mindful couple of hours — the kind that leaves you feeling calm, quietly proud, and inspired, with a beautiful handmade piece to take home and enjoy in your garden.
 
 
At Where Inspiration Blooms, we’re big fans of delicious cake! In this class, you can enjoy a choice of traditional and herbal teas from Chesham-based tea connoisseurs, Two Spoons, as well as both caffeinated and decaf coffee. We have dairy and non-dairy milks to suit every preference, and our homemade cakes are always sourced from good local bakers. We also make sure those who need gluten-free options aren’t left out.  If you have any allergies, please do let us know when you book so we can make sure everyone has a wonderful and worry-free treat.

All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than 2 weeks before it is due to start and we will of course, offer you a full refund.
