Our Christmas Craft Day is back – more magical and creative than ever!
Join us for a whole day of festive fun, laughter, and making. Together we’ll journey through a great line-up of seasonal crafts, and you’ll leave with a collection of handmade treasures – perfect for gifting to loved ones or keeping as keepsakes to cherish (or both!).
We’ve chosen some of our absolute favourite crafts this year, bundled them into one glorious day, and can’t wait to share them with you.
Here’s what we've got waiting for you…
🎁 Bronze Jewellery – We'll begin our morning by crafting an elegant necklace and matching earrings. You’ll create your own silicone moulds, press delicate natural objects like shells and foraged finds into light bronze clay, and watch your designs transform as they’re fired in the kiln – timeless little luxuries to treasure forever. We will have a selection little objects you can choose from or you're very welcome to bring your own. We will also provide you with the findings to complete your pieces so you will leave with them all finished.
🧣 Chunky Merino Wool Scarf – Next, wrap yourself in warmth with your very own super-soft arm-knitted scarf. With four beautiful colours to choose from, we will show you how to create a cosy and luxurious piece you’ll adore all winter. As regular visitors to our website will know, we run regular arm knitting workshops to make chunky blankets but we think you'll absolutely love this new way to put your arm knitting skills to the test... and the wool is lovely and soft!
🍽 Lunch Break – Please don't forget to bring a packed lunch with you, we will have unlimited cups of tea & coffee all day, plus regular cake breaks but you may want something more substantial to keep your energy levels up - although it's always possible that you’ll be so caught up in creativity that you might forget to stop!
🐦 Ceramic Bird Baubles – After lunch, sculpt your very own ceramic bird bauble using simple slip-cast pre-made forms and clay sculpting techniques. Add colour with underglaze, and we’ll glaze and refire your piece ready for you to collect in time for Christmas – a unique decoration for your tree.
and finally.... to round off the day
🪡 Embroidered Felt Decorations – a touch of festive magic by stitching your own felt decorations. Choose from a variety of shapes, colours, beads, sequins, and embroidery stitches to create as many sparkling keepsakes as you can before the day is done.
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of tea, festive treats, and laughter. The atmosphere will be relaxed, the creativity abundant, and the joy infectious.
Why not bring along a friend or family member and make it a day to remember? There’s something wonderfully festive about creating side by side – you’ll share the joy, the laughter, and the magic of the season, and leave with memories (and treasures) that will last far beyond Christmas.

This class will only be able to go ahead if we have a minimum number of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than a week before the class is due to take place and full refunds will be issued.
