In this 2-hour super-fun class you will learn a selection of different macrame knots which will be used to create your very own plant hanger. Macrame is a really mindful activity but also great fun, there's nothing quite like the sense of accomplishment you'll get when you finish your hanger and see your plant hanging in it!  This is also a really great class to start your journey with macrame.  Once you've mastered the basics you can go on to create wall hangings, yoga mat straps, dog leads and all manner of other useful and decorative pieces.  It's a really versatile craft and this is a great place to start.
 
Please do feel free to bring a plant with you so you can make sure that your hanger fits! 
 
Because it's almost the weekend we will have some delicious home-made rhubarb/sloe or redcurrant gin to get the evening started (as well as soft and hot drinks) plus you're very welcome to bring a bottle and nibbles if you fancy making an evening of it. Our Friday night classes are a really brilliant way to kick start the weekend so feel free to come with friends and relax with some crafty capers.
 
No experience necessary and all materials will be provided.
This class will be held at our Pavilion in Penn Street, Amersham.  Opposite The Pavilion you will find our gorgeous local country pub The Hit or Miss so you may want to grab a few friends and make a lovely summer evening of it!
