Friday 18th September 2026 from 1-3pm at The Pavilion, Penn Street, near Amersham
£45 per person
Join us for an afternoon of exploring your creative side designing, making and glazing unique pieces of handmade jewellery.
In this 2 hour session, under Caroline's expert guidance you will be shown how to use porcelain clay to craft your jewellery pieces. You will go on to apply glazes to add colour.
If time allows (depending on your speed of working) you will be able to make 4 large and 8 small pieces in this session - the larger pieces make ideal pendants for necklaces and the smaller pieces earrings. So it total you could create 4 really unique jewellery sets - perfect for yourself or as handmade personal Christmas gifts.
We will be working with porcelain clay and you will make and glaze your pieces all in the one session. We will then go on to fire them, ready to be collected from the 1st of October.
We will be holding an optional session on the 1st of October at 1.30pm where you can come to assemble your jewellery with findings provided by us. If you can't attend this session then we will provide you with a small bag containing the jump rings and earring findings that you will need to complete your pieces. These can be collected in any of our pottery collection timeslots.
Before you book this class please note the following:
- you will need to come and collect your pieces of work at a later date
- sadly we are not able to post pieces of pottery out
- you will be notified on email to let you know that your work is ready for collection
- Pieces will be kept for 4-weeks from this point. After this time they will be disposed of to make room for other people’s work
For more information or if you have any questions at all please do email us on julesandcaroline@whereinspirationblooms.co.uk
This class will only be able to go ahead if we have a minimum number of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than a week before the class is due to take place and full refunds will be issued.
