Join us for a really fun session playing with sun printing (officially known as cyanotype printing – one of the earliest forms of photographic printing) at our gorgeous new Pavilion in Penn Street.
 
We will start this fun packed 90 minute session by foraging for natural objects and flowers/grasses in the adjacent field and hedgerows before arranging the pieces into patterns and pictures.  We will then use pre-coated paper (treated with a special beldn fo two chemicals to create the light sensitivity) to create beautiful blue sun prints.   You are also very welcome to bring items with you to try and sun print - things that work well include papercut designs, pressed flowers and letters.
 
All materials will be provided.  Each pair will have the opportunity to create 5 x A5 prints.
