£50 per person at The Pavilion, Penn Street, Amersham.  No experience necessary.

In this fabulously festive 2-hour workshop, co-founder of Where Inspiration Blooms and experienced ceramicist Caroline Oden will show you how to create a stunning, Scandi-inspired ceramic house (just like the ones in our piccies).

This workshop is a hit every year and we’re thrilled to be bringing it back again and looking forward to seeing all the wonderful houses that will be made in 2026.

Over the course of the session, you’ll learn how to construct your very own ceramic house before carving in windows, doors and a variety of unique details to make it completely your own.

Your finished piece will stand around 20cm tall and, once it’s been carefully clear glazed and fired in our studio kiln, it will be ready for collection in time for Christmas.

No prior experience with clay is needed – complete beginners are more than welcome – but if you’ve worked with clay before you’ll enjoy it just as much. We provide everything you’ll need, and the cost of firing and glazing your beautiful finished piece is included in the price.

Before you book this class please note the following:

  • you will need to come and collect your pieces of work at a later date
  • sadly we are not able to post pieces of pottery out
  • you will be notified on email approximately 4 weeks after your class to let you know that your work is ready for collection
  • Pieces will be kept for 4-weeks from this point. After this time they will be disposed of to make room for other people’s work

We recommend this course for adults; however, teenagers aged 16 and above are welcome to attend if you wish to enjoy this workshop together, provided they also purchase a place on the workshop too.

For more information or if you have any questions at all please do email us on julesandcaroline@whereinspirationblooms.co.uk

This class will only be able to go ahead if we have a minimum number of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than a week before the class is due to take place and full refunds will be issued.
