This is a brand new course offering you the chance to learn to throw on the wheel.
 
Over the course of four consecutive days you will learn to prepare the clay, throw and turn a cylinder shaped pot and finally to add finishing touches like handles and decoration with underglazes, all under the supervision of our pottery teacher Andrea.
 
Everyone gets their own wheel to throw on, and the classes are limited to 8 people so everyone gets a chance to have individual attention for their specific needs.
 
At the end of the course you will have the chance to have 6 of your pots fired and clear glazed.
 
Fired pots will need to be collected from the pavilion when they are ready (we'll let you know but usually this takes 4 weeks). Finished pots will be kept for 4 weeks before we have to make space for new work.
