In this deeply nourishing workshop we will be weaving on table looms or in hoops (whichever you prefer). Between them, Jules and Caroline have an extensive stash of delicious wools and tempting textile yarns that you will be given the opportunity to use to create woven pieces that reflect seasonal landscapes... if the weather is mild and not wet, we may even take a stroll out to the woods, field or walled garden near the Pavilion to take inspiration from the colours there...equally if you have a particular colour scheme in mind please feel free to bring your reference materials with you. We will be learning how to thread up the loom and a few different weaving stitches that create interesting textures.
 
It's a lot to expect you to complete a piece in a single workshop so you will be given the opportunity to take some of the materials you need to complete your piece with you nd borrow your loom, to return it as a later date.
