For this class we will meet at The Pavilion, Penn Street, Amersham and then head over to The Walled Garden via a short but stunning walk through fields and woodland.
 
We are so delighted that local artist Jane Peacock will be joining us again this Summer for this really special workshop.
 
In this 2-and-a-half hour workshop, under Jane’s expert guidance, you will spend a morning sketching and drawing in a beautiful private garden.
 
Our brand new Pavilion is adjacent to fields, ancient woodlands and The Penn Estate, which plays host to an absolutely gorgeous walled garden. We are extremely lucky to have been granted private access to this wonderful walled oasis for a short tour by the gardener, Ross, who manages the potagers vegetables and beautiful blooms. Hopefully it will be a really lovely source of inspiration for your drawings. We will spend around 2 hours drawing in the garden before making our way back to The Pavilion.
 
Jane has been a successful working artist for many years and uses drawing as a key part of her regular practise. In this relaxed class Jane will help build on your existing drawing skills, or for anyone who hasn't picked up a pencil in many years this will be an excellent class to try your hand again. Jane's a really enthusiastic and supportive teacher, you're in very encouraging hands.
 
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have been drawing for many years. Anyone who knows us, will know how much we love botanicals at Where Inspiration Blooms, so any drawings you craft in this class are bound to come in handy for future projects like lino, watercolour painting or embroidery!

Jane is not only a well-known Chilterns based print artist but also a highly experienced teacher, so we are really grateful to have her as part of our Where Inspiration Blooms community of teachers.
 
This class will still go ahead of the English summer weather is 'inclement'! Instead we will pick bunches of flowers from The Walled Garden and head back to The warmth of The Pavilion to draw them.

All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than a week before the class is due to take place and full refunds will be issued
