In this fabulously festive 2-hour workshop, co-founder of Where Inspiration Blooms and experienced ceramicist Caroline Oden will show you how to create a stunning, Scandi-inspired ceramic house (just like the ones in our piccies).
 
We ran this class for the first time last year as a stand-alone workshop and it was such a hit that we’re thrilled to be bringing it back again.
 
Over the course of the session, you’ll learn how to construct your very own ceramic house before carving in windows, doors and a variety of unique details to make it completely your own.
 
Your finished piece will stand around 20cm tall and, once it’s been carefully clear glazed and fired in our studio kiln, it will be ready for collection in time for Christmas.
 
No prior experience with clay is needed – complete beginners are more than welcome – but if you’ve worked with clay before you’ll enjoy it just as much. We provide everything you’ll need, and the cost of firing and glazing your beautiful finished piece is included in the price.
 
The class takes place in our cosy studio in Holmer Green, HP15. To make it feel extra festive, you’ll be greeted with homemade mulled wine, mulled apple juice or sloe gin when you arrive, along with plenty of soft and hot drinks. You’re also welcome to bring your own bottle and some nibbles if you’d like to turn it into a seasonal outing with friends. For many, our Christmas workshops have become a much-loved tradition – the perfect way to relax, get creative and kick-start the celebrations with some joyful crafty capers.
