No experience needed at all.  Anyone can do this, even non knitters.
 
We’ve been running this workshop for the past 6 years and never grow tired of how much fun it is. 
 
Knitting with your arms is the speediest, most fun way to create gorgeous chunky blankets, throws and scarves in mega quick timing…honestly you will be so surprised by how much you love your creation! Plus you’ll be leaving with an uber on-trend blanket for a fraction of the price you’ll find in the shops and lifestyle mags.
 
In this 2 hours class you will literally learn how to make a blanket knitted with your arms instead of knitting needles.  Using a 2kg ball of acrylic yarn (you will have the opportunity to choose your colour a couple of weeks in advance) you will create a blanket that is approximately 75cm x 125cm (30”x50”).
 
You don’t need to bring anything with you, but we would suggest that you wear a short-sleeved top and take off any jewellery on hands and arms before you come.
 
Your class will be taught by Jules Cossins, co-founder of Where Inspiration Blooms and an avid crafter and textile creative.  Jules was gifted a ball of mustard arm knitting yarn for her birthday back in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since (in fact it’s become her teaching ball so you may see it being dragged about the floor during your class…it’s still going strong!). 
 
In this class it’s all about the fun, so you can expect music (usually one choice of track per guest! Prosecco and lots of laughter!).
 
This class has been designed for adults, giving you a chance to relax, get creative, and enjoy a peaceful, grown-up evening.
 
At Where Inspiration Blooms, we’re big fans of delicious treats! For our evening classes, you can enjoy a glass of prosecco or refreshing elderflower cordial, accompanied by homemade cakes sourced from local bakers. We also make sure those who need gluten-free options aren’t left out, with carefully selected treats.  If you have any allergies, please do let us know when you book so we can make sure everyone has a wonderful and worry-free time.
 
Please note that we will only be able to run this class/course if we have a minimum of 5 guests. All of our teachers are highly skilled in their fields, but being an artist isn't always a well paid profession so we hope you understand why it's important that we ensure that our teachers can afford to run each of their classes. Should the class not be able to go ahead we will contact you no less than 2 weeks before it is due to start and we will of course, offer you a full refund.
