This workshop sold out every time we ran it last Summer, so we are so delighted that lovely Jools Hopton from Nature's Jewels has agreed to run it again with us :)
Join her for a wonderfully relaxing outside workshop, weaving willow under the shade of our gorgeous apple trees at The Barn.
In just 2 hours you will learn how to make a plant support obelisk which is ideal for sweet peas, peas or indeed any other floral climbers!
Not only will your creation be super useful and look lovely but isn't it so much better knowing you made it yourself?
No previous experience with willow is needed and all materials will be provided. This workshop will take place in the grounds of The Barn so if it's warm don't forget a sun hat, sun cream, something to sit on (if the grass is a bit damp) and a drink.
We set up Where Inspiration Blooms two years ago as a space for people to learn something new in an inspiring natural environment. When your mind and hands are focused on learning a new craft, it can allow you to feel a state of flow, which has similar stress relieving properties to practising mindfulness, meditating or being in nature (something we have both felt has been incredibly helpful during the past year).
We believe that craft, nature and gentle wellbeing activities have a huge role to play in helping us all to move forward from such a stressful 12 months and this workshop is such a great place to start.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Barn.
