Friday 20th August 7pm-9pm
Jay Nolan-Latchford is an award-winning tutor, artist and illustrator who we are so proud to say is a regular teacher at The Barn. We’ve had a huge number of requests for the sea as a workshop subject so we are delighted to be able to offer an abstract seascape mixed media workshop.
So many of us have spent time visiting the British coastline over the last 18 months as an antidote to all the covid madness, so this seascape art class is the perfect opportunity to capture a sense of the freedom, tranquillity and beauty of our coastal wild waters. Leave the worries of your week behind you as you join us for a relaxed, fun and wonderful way to start the weekend.
In this abstract, interpretive class you will explore the amazing properties of Quink ink, combined with sea salt and metallic powders to create a really stunning painting. The workshop comprises step by step technique demonstrations with 1:1 guidance and tuition. You will leave with your very own interpretation of your seascape, something to look back on and hopefully be reminded of summer visits and happy memories.
This class is suitable for beginners as well as those who have attended one of Jay's workshops before.
All materials will be provided.

We very much look forward to welcoming you up to The Barn.
