Sunday 12th July 11.15am - 12.15pm

£15 for one adult and one teen pairing

Suitable for children from approximately 10-16 years old.

We really hope that this class will take place outside in the beautiful grounds of Chartridge Lodge...but if the British weather defeats us it will be inside!

It's sometimes hard to tell just how much of an impact the last few months have had on our teenage children so this class has been designed by Jo, to be a relaxing and bonding hatha yoga session. Taking time to breath together and support each others weight through a series of poses, that will help to strengthen their growing bodies and ease your aches and pains!

Finding activities to do with your teenager can be a tricky task, so we hope that this session will give you precious time together, sharing a new life skill. Sharing a yoga session can be a great way to help keep mind and body balanced, which can be especially welcome during the teen years and given everything that we've all been through this year.

£15 per pair

The Where Inspiration Blooms Wellbeing Festival

We set up Where Inspiration Blooms two years ago as a space for people to learn something new in an inspiring natural environment. When your mind and hands are focussed on learning a new craft, it can allow you to feel a state of flow, which has similar stress relieving properties to practicing mindfulness, meditating or being in nature (something we have both felt has been incredibly helpful during this time). We believe that craft, nature and gentle wellbeing activities have a huge role to play in helping us all to move forward from the lockdown period and in this festival we hope you will find something which appeals to you.

Safety & Security

During these times of social distancing please rest assured that we are taking all the recommended steps to ensure maximum safety.  For the duration of our Wellbeing Festival all our workshops are taking place in a very large conference room inside our next-door neighbours main building at Chartridge Lodge Hotel.

The room is huge, has high ceilings, plenty of windows and will allow us to set up 2 metres apart from each other. We know the government guidelines have reduced the 2 metre rule but it is so important to us that everyone feels safe and comfortable, especially with our festival being all about inspiring people to do things to enhance and support their wellbeing. We strongly believe that maintaining the 2-metre distance is the right thing to do. We will also be putting in place many other safety measures.

We will be asking all of our guests to come into the building wearing masks, which they can remove once they are inside the room and we will be providing hand sanitisers on each work station and when you enter the building.  A full list of all the bits we are doing will be sent out to you on an email a couple of days before the workshop.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Barn.
