Bird watching has proved to be a welcome distraction for so many of us over the last year. If you, like us, have become avid garden 'twitchers' and followers of all things birdy-related then this class will be the one for you.
Learn to draw and paint our feathered friends in a lovely relaxed atmosphere with th wonderful Jay Nolan-Latchford, local award-winning tutor, artist and illustrator.
We’ll be using soft pencils to sketch a variety of British garden birds including a blue tit, sparrow, goldfinch or robin before painting them in beautiful watercolours.
With demonstrations and plenty of expert 1:1 guidance everyone will leave with a finished mounted piece ready to frame.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, as well as those who have attended one of Jay's workshops in the past.
All materials will be provided.
Safety & Security
During these times of social distancing please rest assured that we are taking all the recommended steps to ensure maximum safety. Our indoor workshops will be taking place with windows open and we would ask that you bring your own hand sanitiser and mask. We will not be able to serve any refreshments at the current time, (which makes us very sad indeed) but it's critical that we ensure your safety first, and we hope that in time this will change and the coffee and cake will flow again! Fingers crossed.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Barn.
