Saturday 15th August 10-11am

All ages must be accompanied by an adult.

For this brilliant bug hunt, our resident nature expert Jools, from Nature's Jewels, will take you around the grounds of The Barn, searching out all the wonderful little creatures who are hiding in the long grass, under stones and in the hedges...  Jools has a wealth of knowledge about our local area, its wildlife and conservation so for any children with an interest in bugs, not only will they have a really terrific time, but they will also learn loads.  Jools has been teaching forest school, outdoor learning and natural history in numerous local schools for over 15 years so is very experienced in this field.  She is also extremely inventive and generous with her knowledge and time so you can expect lots of unexpected delights.

We will meet at 10am by the fairy circle near the trees in the grounds of The Barn.

1 x ticket needed per child participating. Accompanying adults are free.

This Bug Hunt is part of our Weekend of Wild Things from 14th-16th August.  To find out what other outdoor workshops and events we are running over the course of the weekend simply click here.
