Sunday 16th August 1 - 4pm

£15 per box

Join us for three hours of outdoor family time in the beautifully wild grounds at The Barn.

In this brilliantly fun and educational workshop we will be learning how to build a cosy warm bat box where hopefully your local bats will have a safe place to roost and raise their pups.

We will start the session with a brief talk about bats from our resident nature expert Jools, from Nature's Jewels, and then under her expert tuition each family will be given the opportunity to make a bat box from wood. Jools will then talk us through exactly what sort of location to pop your box for your best chance to attract a new family of bats.

Once everyone has finished you are welcome to stay around and have a family picnic in our grounds. The kids can play on our hay bales, in the long grass bug hunting or making a den under the trees, whilst you relax surrounded by the scent of our organically grown seasonal cut flowers.

Price includes one bat box per family. If you would like to make more than one, please add an additional £10 in your basket from the drop-down menu.
