If you've been trying to find ways to make home schooling more interesting then this could be just the thing! Join us for a great fun evening hunt, looking & listening out for ‘Creatures of the Night’ with Jools Hopton of ‘Nature’s Jewels’.
Our nature safari is suitable for the whole family so should be an evening to remember. We will meet outside the back of The Barn, where we will make a mask before heading off on a bug hunt in the meadow. Then as the sunlight fades we’ll set off with bat detectors for a twilight walk searching for bats, owls and deer as we listen to the sounds of the night.
Finally as the evening draws to a close we will settle down for hot chocolate/tea/coffee and biscuits by the Fairy Circle.
Don’t forget your torch, insect repellent (for those naughty midges), and a coat or warm jumper to keep you snug once the sun goes down.
The Where Inspiration Blooms Wellbeing Festival
We set up Where Inspiration Blooms two years ago as a space for people to learn something new in an inspiring natural environment. When your mind and hands are focused on learning a new craft, it can allow you to feel a state of flow, which has similar stress relieving properties to practising mindfulness, meditating or being in nature (something we have both felt has been incredibly helpful during this time). We believe that craft, nature and gentle wellbeing activities have a huge role to play in helping us all to move forward from the lockdown period and in this festival we hope you will find something which appeals to you.
