Bucks Art Weeks Pop-up Café

Menu

The café offers a delicious selection of homemade baked treats (including cakes, brownies, flapjacks and biscuits) which are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee.  There are also plenty of cold drinks.

Light lunches are available from 12noon-2pm and include baguettes, soups and daily specials such as salads and frittata.  Cream teas, cakes and drinks are available from 10am -3.30pm.

Where is the Café?

It's situated in the grounds of our Bucks Art Week exhibition at Holy Trinity Church, Penn Street, Hp7 0PX.

Can I Reserve A Table?

We would encourage you to book as last year we got really busy, but if there are no slots available for the time you want you are welcome to bring a rug or a camping chair and sit anywhere in the beautiful church grounds.

We will be offering a takeaway style service, where orders are placed and collected from the counter and brought back to your seating area.

Is the Café child-friendly?

Yes absolutely - we have children’s goodie bags at the ready, including a roll, crisps, homemade biscuit and drink.

Who Is Running The Blooming Café at our Bucks Art Week Exhibition This Year?

Susie and her Angelic Cake Co have been baking cakes locally since 2010 and as time has gone on, her delicious offering has evolved into a huge range including heavenly cupcakes (and some devilish ones too).  You can find Susie at Amersham Market plus a range of local businesses including 1220 Old Amersham and Smiths Garden Centre.  For more info visit https://theangeliccakeco.co.uk/

Meryl and Laura are a local mother and daughter duo who have always dreamed of owning a little café together.

Meryl’s passion lies in finding, testing and perfecting new and interesting recipes and preparing food for friends and family. Laura has a soft spot for baking sweet treats and especially loves the challenge of family birthday cakes. She loves to get her teeth into organising events and is always looking for ways to being creative.
